Born 27th of May 1973, in Harstad and living many of his first years in Saltdal (northern Norway), the German composer, filmmaker, artist and producer Flint Juventino Beppe began writing music from an early age: songs, electroacoustic music, ballet music, symphonic poems, flute concertos, piano concertos, double concertos and symphonies. The powerful nature of the Arctic Circle has from the earliest part of his life resulted in numerous compositions and continues to be a constant muse for his work. Published by The FJB Fingerprint, Beppe's catalogue of works comprises per 2021 about 200 titles, more than 90 opuses which include a number of commissioned works. Over the years he has collaborated closely with many internationally renowned artists, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir James Galway, Emily Beynon (solo flautist Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Andreas Blau (former solo flautist Berliner Philharmoniker), die 14 Berliner Flötisten, Wolfgang Plagge, Ralph Rousseau, Ari Rasilainen, Rune Bergmann and Leonard Slatkin. Performances in, among others, the Kennedy Centre (Washington D.C.), die Philharmonie (Berlin) and St. John's, Smith Square (London). Two of his albums, with compositions written under the starry sky north of the Arctic Circle, have been Grammy-nominated: FLUTE MYSTERY and REMOTE GALAXY (Ashkenazy / Philharmonia Orchestra, 2L). He has also released more than 20 albums and films on the Symbiophonic label, including ABOUT MY GRANDFATHER and INFINITY CHIMES (Rasilainen / Norwegian Radio Orchestra). As an artist, performing his own lyrics and melodies, Beppe contributes as singer on, among others, MULIGENS and MINE DAGER. Beppe's self-developed Symbiophony Film Concept has produced MONTAGNA CON FORZA and VICINO ALLA MONTAGNA. Having a diagnosis within the autism spectrum, Beppe lives a life secluded from society, surrounded by music and in harmony with nature. He collaborates closely with the non-profit association Philobretto — The FJB Unlimited Foundation. Flint Juventino Beppe was formerly known as Fred Jonny Berg. After living and working in Berlin for several years, Beppe became a German citizen via naturalization in October 2020. Beppe has German ancestry via his beloved grandfather Ragnvald Jacobsen (1905 - 1997).
